THE SYNTACTIC STRUCTURES IN JESUS OF NAZARETH LORD AND CHRIST
Abstract
This article explores the types of sentences and their sentential components in the thirty sentences which were taken from the book of theology. The term syntactic structure is used here to refer to the problem being treated. Based on the analysis, it is found that there are two types of sentences. In simple sentences there exists four different constituents, most of which are of phrasal category. In complex sentences there exist five types of sub-clauses occurring 27 times. These findings constitute the teaching and learning materials.
