Kristus dalam Penebusan dan Kovenan Baru: Sebuah Perspektif Teologis 1 Korintus 1:30

Abstract


Tulisan ini dirancang untuk membingkai peran Kristus dalam penebusan dan kovenan baru melalui perspektif teologis 1 Korintus 1:30. Penebusan yang Yesus kerjakan merupakan perwujudan supremasi kasih Allah yang besar bagi manusia yang telah rusak oleh dosa. Selain itu, penebusan yang Yesus kerjakan juga berkaitan dengan kovenan baru yang Yesus sendiri nyatakan di dalam perjamuan terakhirNya. Paulus membingkai peran Kristus dalam penebusan dan kovenan baru melalui pernyataannya di dalam 1 Korintus 1:30. 1 Korintus 1:30 menegaskan bahwa Yesus merupakan sumber hikmat yang mendatangkan kebenaran dan pengudusan bagi orang percaya melalui penebusanNya di kayu salib. 1 Korintus 1:30 juga menegaskan tentang proses pembebasan manusia dari dosa yang dicapai melalui pengorbanan Kristus. Melalui penelitian kualitatif deskriptif, dapat disimpulkan bahwa peran Kristus dalam penebusan dan kovenan baru melalui perspektif teologis 1 Korintus 1:30 membawa implikasi positif yang mendalam baik secara teologis maupun secara praktis. Jemaat orang percaya dapat menghayati ketaatan Kristus di dalam kehidupan pribadi jemaat serta persatuan di dalam kovenan baru melalui Yesus Kristus.
