Salam Lintas Agama Merekatkan yang Berbeda untuk Memberkati Satu Sama Lain
Abstract
Salam Lintas Agama (Interfaith Greetings) or also called “Salam Kebhinekaan” is now increasingly popular spoken by the leaders of the nation. When the Covid-19 outbreak hit Indonesia, this nation needed a common spirit to rise from the beat or the effects of the plague that caused losses in various sectors. All elements of the nation must be glued together to unite and rise against this plague and Salam Lintas Agama or Salam Kebhinekaan can be used as an adhesive factor between religious communities. This paper is intended to provide a proposal to make Salam Lintas Agama or Salam Kebhinekaan a glue factor between religious communities to have inter-religious, cross-tribal care in facing the danger of Covid-19 which has claimed many victims and losses to the community. This study uses a qualitative method with phenomenological analysis for the purpose of describing the meaning of greetings from various major religions and their relation in fostering national resilience. Data obtained from the middle of the community in the period of the Large-Scale Social Restrictions reflecting how greetings and prayers can increase fellowship and help each other among religious communities increase compared to before the outbreak.
